Looking Ahead to 2027
Following the success of the event and the overwhelmingly positive feedback received from clubs, players, coaches, and officials, there was strong support for the South Central Hockey Play-Off Day to become a regular feature in the end-of-season calendar.
As a result, the league structure for next season has been updated to support the continued development of the competition:
- The 2026/27 league season will conclude on 10 April 2027
- No league fixture movements will be permitted beyond that date
- The next South Central Hockey Play-Off Day will take place on 24 April 2027
The decision provides certainty for clubs while ensuring the Play-Off Day can continue to showcase high-quality hockey, competitive cross-league fixtures, and a professional event environment at the conclusion of the season.
South Central Hockey will now look to build on the success of this year’s event as planning begins for an even bigger and stronger Play-Off Day in 2027.
