Welcome to Poole Hockey Club! Founded in 1893, we are one of the oldest sports clubs in the country.

With over 150 active members, male and female and ranging in age from 5 to 70, we are a community orientated club providing a fun and competitive team experience. We are a family club with members that have been playing in our teams for over 30 years and with three generations of the same family playing together on some occasions.

We welcome players of all ages and abilities so whether you’re a social player, aspiring international or completely new to the game, there’s a team for you at Poole!

We run three men and two women teams in various divisions and cup competitions across the South Central area. We are also very fortunate to be able to run junior teams offering fixtures throughout the season for U10, U12 and U14 mixed squads.

Our club has a thriving membership which is continuously expanding, and we offer various playing opportunities to our members. We promote development and always encourage players to progress to their next stage. Many of our junior players have represented the club at county level and we have had players go on to play higher level hockey including attending England trials.

We are always open to new members, and welcome players throughout the season.
