EHO Conference 2025

We’re excited to announce that the England Hockey Officiating Conference is back for its second year! Mark your calendars for Sunday 31st August 2025, as we return to the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham for another inspiring day dedicated to hockey officiating.

This year’s conference will feature:

Keynote speaker Luke Pearce, international rugby referee and 2019 Rugby World Cup Official, sharing insights on elite-level officiating and leadership under pressure.

Sports psychologist Sue Jones, who supported Olympic-level umpires, delivering a session on self-reflection and performance mindset.

A range of interactive, video-based workshops covering:

• Positioning and movement: being in the right place at the right time
• Managing the aerial ball: ensuring safety and skill
• Handling player conflict and communication challenges

Whether you’re just starting your umpiring journey or are a seasoned official, this conference offers valuable development opportunities and the chance to connect with some of the top names in English officiating – including those who represented England at Paris 2024.
