Talented Athlete Update!

Cian, is a member of the Isle of Wight Talented Athlete Scheme – who are his sponsor – his hockey journey has been nothing short of inspiring!

Starting with the IOW Hockey Club and progressing through the Hampshire Player Pathway, Cian earned his place in the Hampshire U15 Squad and has since risen to the challenge of training at the Hampshire Performance Centre in Basingstoke - developing high-level tactical, technical and fitness skills alongside other top young athletes.

But it doesn’t stop there…

Last weekend, Cian stepped up as an England Hockey Level 1 umpire, officiating U13 & U14 county matches alongside the South Central Officiating Team. A huge step in giving back to the sport he loves while developing leadership and communication skills on and off the pitch.
