New world-class playing surface in Basingstoke

Visitors to Basingstoke Hockey Club of all ages will now benefit from a new world-class playing surface at Down Grange Sports Complex in Kempshott, Basingstoke.

The old artificial pitch has been replaced with a brand-new playing surface that is the first of its kind in the country and will be used for hockey at the Paris Olympics this year.

Players from Basingstoke Hockey Club have been among the first to use the council-owned pitch which they hope will support the club’s continuing development.
