Protective Equipment

In recent weeks there has been at least two facial injuries caused by raise hockey balls striking players. This has resulted in injuries which required hospital treatment. Both were ladies and one was a junior.

Whilst accepting that the cost of having properly fitted mouth guards can seem a costly irrelevance to some, these incidents do go to demonstrate that an investment in Mouth Guards can save the cost of expensive dental treatment should an unfortunate accident occur during match time.

We would urge all players of whatever level, experience or level, to have the right protective equipment when playing the game of hockey to mitigate against injury.
