Start of hockey season

The league season started for some teams in the South Central area on 16^th September. 23^rd September sees all clubs and teams in action to acquire points to accumulate for the season. Both Men’s and Ladies all through the club's structure will be playing and hoping to achieve good results.

Umpires too are getting focused on delivering safe and fair matches this weekend. These folk are giving their time and expertise to enable the game to be played. They deserve our respect in often challenging circumstances.

Club administrators and committees have been working all summer to get to this point as well, without whom hockey would not function as it does.

Please remember to load your results onto GMS before 8 p.m. on the day of the match, including goalscorers, any red or yellow cards given, and the player/s disciplined, plus the score (noting 0-0 if that is the result). If no cards are given a 0 result in that field is required.  

The results will then be featured on our website where you can then see the results and tables each weekend. The new feature of Head to Head fixtures will build as the season progresses, but will help clubs gauge each opposition match.
