Umpire Rhapsody

Keely Dunn, the Umpire Whisperer flew over from Calgary to visit UK hockey clubs in person (in augmenting her online forums). She visited Fareham Hockey Club and Reading Hockey Club in the South Central Area, to present and discuss some ideas on how Umpires can improve as the game evolves and help the game move faster, whilst maintaining the safety of players. Ideas and discussions flew to and fro during the lively discussions.

 The topics were:

1.  Free Hit Management: Rolling Balls
2. Aerial Ball Management
3. Personal Penalty Management
