South Central In2Hockey Finals
South Central Schools In2Hockey Finals 2026.
The South-Central Schools Boys and Girls Under 11, Under 13, and Under 12, In2Hockey Finals took place at Reading and Sonning Hockey Clubs on 10th, 12th and 19thMarch 2026.
The Under 13 and Under 12 In2Hockey Tournament attracted the winners and runners up from each of the four County (Berkshire, Bucks, Hampshire and Oxfordshire) In2hockey Tournaments.
The winning Boys Under 13 team was St Neot’s (Berkshire). The Runners up were Sir William Borlase Grammar School (Bucks). In the Girls Section, King Edward V1 (K.E.S.) (Hampshire) were the Winners with Cheam (Berkshire) as Runners up. St Neot’s and K.E.S. qualify to represent South Central in the E.H. National Finals on 15th May 2026
There is no National Final for Under 12 or Under 11s.The winning South-Central Boys’ Under 12 team was St Neot’s (Berkshire), runners up Magdalen College School (Oxon). The winning South-Central Girls Under 12 team was Oratory Prep (Oxon) with Farleigh (Hants) as Runners up.
Gayhurst School (Bucks) had hoped to run a Bucks Under 11 In2hockey Tournament, however this did not happen. Gayhurst School was eager to be involved in the South-Central Competition and agreed to represent Bucks in both Boys’ and Girls’ competitions, with Berkshire 3rd placed teams filling the remaining place. Unfortunately, on the Friday before the tournament, Gayhurst was forced to pull out of the tournament. With no time to recruit an additional team, it was decided to run the tournament as a league with the remaining 7 teams. The winning Boys team was K.E.S. Prep (Hants) Runners up, Magdalen College School (Oxon) The winning Girls team was K.E.S. (Hants) with St Piran’s (Berkshire) as runners up. Many thanks to Reading and Sonning Hockey Clubs for hosting the events and to Jo King, Bridget Chapman and Sally Rayer (Berkshire H.A) for their help in running the tournaments.
A South-Central Schools In2Hockey shield was presented to each winning team. To be engraved and retuned in time for 2027 tournaments. Teams placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd received medals and certificates.
All matches, in every age group, were officiated by South-Central Umpires. Many thanks to David Boyle (Hants) for recruiting the umpires.

South Central Hockey are running the In2Hockey Finals competition at Reading Hockey Club on Sunday 26th April.
- U10s boys and girls will be in the morning
- U12 boys and girls will be in the afternoon.
